Ms. Suad Badran comes to Maudsley Health from Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City, KSA where she worked as a Senior Clinical Psychologist since 2014. Ms. Badran completed her Bachelor’s (BA) degree in Psychology in 2007 from the University of Jordan and then her master’s degree in Clinical Psychology in 2010. She is a registered psychologist with Jordanian Ministry of Health, Saudi Commission for Health Specialties, and DOH Abu Dhabi.
Before moving to the UAE in 2021, Ms. Badran worked in Saudi Arabia at the Sultan Bin Abdulaziz Humanitarian City as a senior clinical psychologist treating pediatric and adult populations with developmental disabilities, brain injuries, stroke, spinal cord injuries, neurological diseases such as multiple sclerosis, in addition to autism & hyperactivity. During her early career in Jordan, she took on dual-roles in both clinical and teaching positions working as a Psychosocial Counselor at Al-Murad Center for Psychological, Education Consultation and Training for five years since 2009 while also engaging as Teaching Assistant at the University of Jordan, Department of Psychology for seven years since 2007.
Covering the whole scope in psychosocial rehabilitation, Ms. Badran has a versatile approach to testing and therapeutic interventions for children and adults with anxiety disorders, including panic disorder, social phobia, obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD), post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), depression, challenging behaviors, bedwetting and sleep problems, as well as autism and intellectual disabilities.
