Lara has 10 years of working experience, with a master’s degree in clinical psychology from the holy spirit university in Lebanon she has worked in several private and public sectors in Lebanon and abroad.
Lara has 5 years of training in psychoanalysis in Beirut and has been certified with specialized training in behavioral and cognitive therapy from the Lebanese Association of Behavioral and Cognitive Therapies (ALTCC).

Worked for 2 years as a clinical psychologist at the psychiatric hospital of the cross in Lebanon then went to Africa where she worked as a clinical program director at the learning place center. Extensive experience working with and providing consultation to parents, teachers, care teams, and organizations.
Recently worked in Lebanon with Caritas as a staff care psychologist and clinic in Beirut; Exposed to patients with different mental health problems such as depression, OCD, anxiety, grief, traumas, eating disorder, personality disorders, relationship problems and adjustment disorders.
Lara uses an integrative clinical approach personalized to patient’s needs, and incorporates elements of psychoanalytical therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Compassion focus therapy (CFT). Her goal is to work towards improving the patient’s quality of life collaboratively and to evolve a more compassionate relationship with themselves using solution-focused strategies.
